Request research on a company

Ask Aira a research question about any company in your Portfolio. It works in the background and notifies you when the report is ready.

Every company in your Portfolio has a research section where you can ask Aira a question about that company. Aira digs through current public sources and Aira's company database in the background, then notifies you when the answer is ready: a structured report with a bottom line, detailed findings, and the sources it used.

What you can ask

Anything you would otherwise research by hand:

  • "Find local competitors"

  • "When did they first announce their IPO?"

  • "Give me a full background on their CEO"

  • "Have they announced any new products, partnerships, or expansions?"

Specific questions get sharper answers than broad ones. For facts Aira already tracks, like revenue, board members, and group structure, check the company page first. Research is for everything beyond it.

You can write your question in any language, and the report comes back in the language you asked in.

Ask on desktop

Open the company from your Portfolio and scroll to the Research section. Type your question in the box and send it with the arrow button, or start from one of the suggested questions below the box. Your question appears under the box with its status while Aira works.

Ask on mobile

Open the company, scroll to Intel, and tap Request research. Describe what you want to know and send it. Depending on your question, Aira may ask a quick follow-up first, for example what you plan to use the research for. Answer it to sharpen the result, or tap Skip, just research it to send the question off as is.

While Aira researches

Research usually takes a few minutes. You do not need to stay on the page or keep the app open. When the report is ready, you get a notification in Notifications on desktop and a push notification on your phone.

Reading the report

Aira gives the finished research a short title and lists it in the company's research section. The report opens with your question and a Bottom Line, followed by themed findings. Each finding ends with a What This Means for You note that translates it into something you can act on. Sources are listed at the end.

Reports stay on the company page until you delete them with the trash icon. Each report is a one-off: to dig further, ask a new question. Research is included in your membership, with no caps or extra cost.
