How Discover works

Discover is a conversational search across 65 million companies in 14 European markets. Describe what you want, then narrow it.

Discover is a conversational search across the 65 million companies in Aira's company database. You describe the kind of companies you are looking for in plain language, and Aira searches across 14 European markets, returns a ranked list, and writes a short brief on what it found.

There is no form to fill in. The prompt is the search, and you keep refining it in the same place until the list is right.

Start with a prompt

Type what you are looking for in plain language:

  • "Real estate companies in Sweden with more than 500 employees"

  • "Manufacturers in Germany with 30%+ revenue growth"

  • "Consultancies in the UK with under 50 employees"

Three example prompts appear under the search box if you need a starting point. See Write a good Discover prompt for the patterns that work best.

What Aira does with your prompt

Aira reads your prompt into structured criteria: industry, geography, company size, revenue, and growth. It searches Aira's company database and shows its progress as it works, from searching companies to finalizing the brief.

The brief opens with a short summary of what Aira found, including the total number of matches, so you can see how broad your search was before you start narrowing it.

Reading the results

Results appear as a ranked list, with the largest companies by revenue first. Each result shows:

  • The company name, country, and city.

  • Revenue, with the year-over-year change shown in green when it is growing and red when it is falling.

  • The number of employees.

The sources behind the results are shown beneath the list. On mobile the same results appear as cards you can scroll through.

Narrow the results

You rarely get the perfect list on the first try. Narrow it in two ways:

  • Use the refine controls to pick a company size band and a revenue range.

  • Ask a follow-up in plain language, for example "only the ones growing faster than 20%" or "focus on Gothenburg".

Each change re-runs the search and updates the list. Your search is saved as its own conversation, so you can leave it and come back later.

Add a company to your Portfolio

When a result looks right, add it straight to your Portfolio with the add button on the row. It is added immediately, with no review step. You can also click a result to open its Company card first, then add it from there and use the People and Research sections to plan your outreach.

Why your active markets matter

Searches are scoped to the markets your organization has set in Settings → Organization. If you cannot find companies in a country you sell in, add it to your active markets. See Set your Active markets, currency, and organization website.
