Install the Aira panel in Salesforce

Install the Aira managed package and add the Aira panel to your Salesforce Account and Contact record pages.

The Aira panel shows company intelligence, news, financials, ownership and people, directly on your Salesforce Account and Contact record pages. Installing it is a one-time setup done by a Salesforce administrator, after Salesforce is connected to Aira.

Before you start

You need Salesforce administrator access, and Salesforce already connected to Aira. If you haven't connected yet, see Connect Salesforce to Aira.

Install the Aira package

In Aira on desktop, click your name in the bottom left corner and open the Integrations tab. Below the CRM rows you'll find the Install Aira in Salesforce card.

  1. Click Install Aira in Salesforce. Salesforce opens.

  2. Approve the install in your org.

Leave Keep the Aira Salesforce app up to date automatically switched on so your org always runs the latest version of the package.

Assign the Aira User permission set

The panel is only visible to members who have the Aira User permission set. In Salesforce, assign Aira User to anyone who should see the panel on their record pages.

Add the Aira component to your record pages

The panel appears once you add the Aira component to a record page:

  1. In Lightning App Builder, edit an Account or Contact record page.

  2. Drag the Aira component onto the page.

  3. Save, and activate the page if prompted.

For more on editing record pages, see Salesforce's guide to customising Lightning record pages.

What the panel shows

On an Account record, the Aira panel shows the company's latest news, financials with a revenue and profit chart, ownership structure, and the people Aira knows at that company. Each person has an Add to Salesforce button, so you can create a contact from the panel without leaving the record.
