Aira does not pull your whole HubSpot account in. Import scope decides which HubSpot companies arrive in Aira and keep receiving updates. You set the scope when you connect HubSpot and set up the sync. If you chose to import from segments, this is the page where you change which ones.
Open import scope
In Aira on desktop, click your name in the bottom left corner and open the Integrations tab. On the HubSpot row click Manage, then choose Import scope.
Pick the segments Aira imports from
Segments to import lists the company segments in your HubSpot account, each with the number of companies in it. Tick the ones you want Aira to import from.
Your picks appear as chips above the list, next to a counter such as 2 of 10 segments selected. Use Search segments if the list is long. When the selection is right, choose Save segments.
At least one segment has to stay ticked. Aira will not let you save an empty selection, so to stop importing from HubSpot altogether you disconnect rather than clear the list.
What happens when you add or remove a segment
Adding a segment imports its companies straight away. You do not have to wait for an overnight run.
Removing a segment is not a delete. Its companies stay in Aira and simply stop receiving updates from HubSpot, so anything you have already put in a portfolio or researched stays exactly where it is.
Check your scope at a glance
Back on the Integrations tab, the HubSpot row summarises what you have set, for example Importing from 2 segments. The HubSpot page behind Manage shows the same thing on the Import scope row, alongside your other HubSpot settings: signals, contact sync, field mapping and widget layout.
If your connection does not use segments
Some connections import your own companies, or every company, rather than a set of segments. If yours is one of those, Import scope shows which scope you are on and there is nothing to change there. No connection can move between my companies, all companies and segments in place. The only way to switch is to disconnect and connect again, choosing the scope you want during setup.
Salesforce works differently
Segments are a HubSpot feature. On Salesforce you choose between my companies and all companies after you click Connect and set up the sync, and the Salesforce page then shows the scope you are on. Switching scope means disconnecting and connecting again there too. See Connect Salesforce to Aira.
